Water Pressure

Wear the proper protection:

When cleaning, ensure the maximum air pressure is below 30 psi (205 kPa).
Do not point a pressure washer at others, or yourself.
Do not spray objects with a pressure washer as a way of moving or pushing them.
Do not use a gas-powered pressure washer in an enclosed area.
When using electrical pressure washing units, ensure you are using heavy-duty extension cords, and that the connections are kept as far away from water as possible.
If a unit has tripped a circuit breaker, ensure a qualified electrician checks the unit before putting it to use again.
Squeeze the trigger of a pressure washer after use to release pressure build-up in the gun, hose, and pump.
Be extremely careful when using a pressure washer near power lines, electrical boxes, and electrical meters.
Always keep the spray of a pressure washer away from wires and windows.
Never secure the gun in the open position.
