Prevention
- Always read the operators manual before use.
- Wear proper protective equipment.
- Before each use, check for leaks or damage in the air hoses, couplings, and connections.
- Attach the tool securely to the hose before turning the compressor on.
- Do not point the hose at anyone.
- Wait to use the tool until others are out of the line of air-flow.
- Keep air lines out of the way of foot traffic.
- When possible, keep air hoses suspended to reduce damage to the hoses, and to reduce the risk of tripping.
- Never use more than the recommended amount of air pressure for a tool.
- Only use the amount of air pressure needed to get the job done.
- Do not lift tools by the hose.
- Do not use air pressure to clean dirt from clothing and skin.
