Symptoms of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
- Headache
- Dizziness and Drowsiness
- Nausea and loss of consciousness
IF THESE SYMPTOMS OCCUR, SHUT OFF THE EQUIPMENT IMMEDIATELY, EVACUATE THE BUILDING, AND CALL 911.

- Compressors.
- Space Heaters.
- Diesel, Gasoline, and LP powered equipment.
- Toxic within enclosed quarters.
Preventative Measures
- Do not use diesel, gasoline, or LP powered equipment indoors, instead try to use electrical powered tools.
- If you must operate diesel, gasoline, or LP powered equipment indoors, ensure there is proper ventilation.
- When using diesel, gasoline, or LP powered equipment indoors, ensure that it has 3-4 feet of space around all four sides, and above it.
- If you must use equipment indoors, ensure it is in good working order.
- If you experience symptoms of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, get outside immediately and seek medical attention.
